Ricardo Lugo, MD

Ricardo Lugo, MD, is an electrophysiologist with Saint Thomas Heart, part of Ascension. Dr. Lugo is board-certified in cardiac electrophysiology. He provides cardiac device implantation, extraction, and management, catheter ablation, and medical management to patients of all ages.

Dr. Lugo has a special interest in catheter ablation for complex arrhythmias such as ventricular tachycardia and atrial fibrillation, pacemaker and defibrillator management, and appendage closure and ligation techniques for mitigation of atrial fibrillation stroke risk. He strives to work closely with patients to find the best treatment for their arrhythmia.

Outside of the office, Dr. Lugo enjoys running, computer programming and spending time with his wife and children.
