Jimmy Kerrigan, MD

Jimmy Kerrigan, MD, is an interventional cardiologist with Saint Thomas Heart, part of Ascension. Dr. Kerrigan is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, and interpretation of vascular ultrasound. He provides care for patients with both acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions and, in addition, evaluates patients for and performs catheter-based interventions to all adult patients.

Dr. Kerrigan has a special interest in complex/high risk indicated procedures (CHIP), cardiogenic shock, and chronic total occlusion (CTO) intervention. He works hard to make sure that patients and their families not only receive the best possible care but also understand what he is doing and why he is doing it in language that is easily understandable.

Outside of the office, Dr. Kerrigan enjoys attending Vanderbilt athletics and alumni events, fishing, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and son.
