Amber Edwards, MD

Amber Edwards, MD, is a cardiothoracic surgeon with Saint Thomas Heart, part of Ascension. Dr. Edwards is board-certified in cardiothoracic surgery. She provides care for coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, surgical heart failure management, shock, and arrythmia surgery to all adult patients.

Dr. Edwards has a special interest in minimally-invasive cardiac surgery, heart failure surgery, women's heart health, decreased utilization of blood products in cardiac surgery, and quality improvement in cardiac surgery. She strives to provide excellent cardiac surgery outcomes with emphasis on patient-centered care.

Outside of the office, Dr. Edwards enjoys traveling, gardening and spending time with her family.
