Dr. Mountain was born and raised in West Virginia. She attended West Virginia University where she obtained her Bachelors Degree in Exercise Physiology and graduated Cum Lade. She then went to West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school, and was inducted into Sigma Sigma Phi honor society. She completed her residency training in Akron, OH at Summa Health Systems at a duel accredited residency program. She then practiced for a year in an outpatient setting in Richmond, Virginia for Bon Secours Health System before ultimately moving to Lebanon, TN with her husband Dr. Shawn Mountain. She has a special interest preventative medicine and weight management, but enjoys being able to practice the whole scope of family medicine. Her favorite part of practicing family medicine is the relationships she shares with her patients and their families.
In her spare time, Dr. Mountain enjoys road races (5K, Half marathons), attending concerts, trying new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
